About
Hi and thanks for taking a few minutes to learn a little bit about me. I am an Alaskan-born chainsaw artist, and I create one-of-a-kind
sculptures.
Six years ago, I looked at all the beetle killed spruce around my property in Clam Gulch, AK, and wondered what I would do with all of that wood. Surely, there was something special that could be done with it. So, I picked up a chainsaw and the rest, as they say, is history.
With patience and careful attention to detail, I create a wide variety of stylistic pieces ranging in size from one foot to ten foot or more. My largest piece to date, a 14 ft. tall waving bear is on display in Soldotna, AK, at the Great Bear Ford Dealership. My pieces have found homes all over the world.
I have since re-located to Port Angeles, WA, but will still spend a few months in Alaska each summer carving and developing my property along the Sterling Hwy. on the Kenai Peninsula.
If you are in Alaska, stop in to see me at:
30147 Sterling Hwy. Mile 79.
